Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to help keep floors clean, safe, and presentable in a long-term care setting. This role supports the overall resident and customer experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out floor maintenance work such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing in resident rooms, shared spaces, and administrative areas.
• Use floor care equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keep accurate records of completed floor care work and inform a supervisor about maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow infection prevention practices and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact professionally with residents, employees, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in floor care is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with building occupants, administrators, and HCSG leadership are important.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks continuously and on a routine basis.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.
