Financial and Data Analyst

Role summary

This position blends finance planning and analysis with data analytics, supporting both Finance and Operations. Based within the Finance team and reporting to the CFO, the role is focused on turning business data into practical insights that improve decision-making across the organisation.

A major part of the job is creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for Country Managers so they can track financial results and operational KPIs in real time. The right candidate will be comfortable working with data, building strong reporting tools, and explaining findings in a clear business-friendly way.

Financial planning and analysis

• Build, update, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for finance and operations, making them easy for Country Managers across all regions to use.
• Create and maintain advanced Excel models for forecasting, data handling, and scenario-based analysis.
• Bring together data from multiple systems such as ERP, CRM, and operational databases, then clean and standardise it for accurate reporting.
• Develop common reporting formats that can be used consistently across countries and business units.
• Improve data quality, reporting speed, and automation for recurring reports.

Data analytics and reporting

• Support users and help strengthen data literacy among key team members.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for finance and commercial teams with easy access for Country Managers in different regions.
• Prepare and manage advanced Excel-based analysis for forecasting, modelling, and data manipulation.
• Collect, review, and validate data from various stakeholders to keep reports accurate.
• Create standard reporting structures that can be applied across countries and business units.
• Keep improving report efficiency, data quality, and automated reporting workflows.

Operational analytics and country support

• Work with Country Managers to understand reporting needs and create tailored dashboards for each market’s financial and operational KPIs.
• Produce regular performance reports covering sales, supply chain metrics, headcount, and country-level P&L summaries.
• Serve as an analytics partner to country leadership by delivering ad hoc analysis and practical insights for local decisions.
• Support cross-country benchmarking and identify useful best practices through data comparison.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics or FP&A, ideally within the solar sector.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query, and financial modelling.
• Proven Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, DAX, and data modelling.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate data handling, curiosity, and a commercial mindset.
