Position Overview
For the Solutions site in Vaihingen, DSV is looking for a Facility Specialist / Local Facility Support Specialist (m/w/d) to strengthen the local facilities team.

Key Responsibilities
- Support facility management with visual and functional checks, including recurring inspections of buildings, technical systems, ramps, and similar assets.
- Carry out routine general maintenance tasks such as minor painting work, replacing light bulbs, and assembling small shelving units.
- Help organize and actively support maintenance and repair activities.
- Coordinate internal and external service providers and carry out acceptance checks for completed work.
- Take ownership of tools and materials, and monitor the usage of operating supplies.
- Work across departments and contribute to special tasks within facility management projects.
- Manage maintenance of equipment to help ensure health and safety standards are met.
Candidate Profile
You should have completed a technical or manual trade apprenticeship. Career changers with technical understanding and practical skills are also welcome. The role requires flexibility, as weekend work or assignments across different locations may occasionally be necessary. Independent, results-oriented work is important in this position.
A valid car driving licence is mandatory, and a forklift licence is considered an advantage. You should also be confident using standard MS Office applications and have very good German skills; English skills are a plus.
