About the role
This ongoing full-time position is based in Melbourne and offers a salary of $81,496 to $98,955 per year, plus superannuation. The role is focused on helping build safe, efficient and well-run work environments across Victoria. You will contribute to office spaces that enable staff to perform at their best, while handling a range of work from facilities support through to space planning.
What you will do
As a Facilities Officer, you will assist with the delivery of facilities and accommodation services across the department. Your work will help support employees, keep accurate records and ensure workplaces continue operating smoothly.
- Track facilities-related issues and manage incoming queries through the facilities management inbox.
- Arrange maintenance work and follow up with external service providers.
- Assist with office relocations, changes to workspaces and accommodation planning.
- Keep floor plans, seating plans and other facilities documents accurate and up to date.
- Offer practical guidance and suggestions to help resolve facilities concerns.
About you
A trade qualification, tertiary qualification or relevant experience would be an advantage. You should have some understanding of facilities management and feel comfortable working with systems, records and workplace information.
- Knowledge of how facilities management processes work.
- Strong ability to solve problems and think critically.
- Good digital capability and confidence using workplace systems.
- A flexible, inclusive and customer-oriented approach.
