About the role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that pairs high-caliber creative and technical professionals with leading AI research labs. The organization is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
Position details
You will work as an Equity Research Expert on a contract basis in a fully remote setup. The role pays $120 per hour and requires a minimum commitment of four weeks with availability for 10 or more hours each week.
Responsibilities
- Review public SEC filings and pull out relevant information to help train AI models.
- Check AI-produced equity research outputs for correctness and provide quality feedback to improve results.
- Partner with AI research teams to strengthen the quality and usefulness of training data.
- Operate independently, manage work asynchronously, and deliver within deadlines while supporting future projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least 2 years of experience in equity research at a top-tier firm, along with practical experience reading, analyzing, and extracting information from public SEC filings.
Start date
The expected start is mid-February.
