Role Overview
HDFC securities is seeking a driven Equity Research Analyst to join its Prime Research team in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. The position is aimed at professionals who are enthusiastic about markets and enjoy identifying investment opportunities through disciplined fundamental research.
Location
Mumbai or Ahmedabad.
Experience and Qualification
The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience. Suitable academic backgrounds include CA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance.
What the Role Demands
- Background in buy-side or sell-side equity research.
- Strong capability in financial modelling and valuation methods such as discounted cash flow and relative valuation.
- Ability to turn fundamental analysis into practical investment ideas.
- Clear communication, presentation, and analytical strengths.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or Refinitiv.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed research on companies and industry sectors.
- Create, update, and refine financial models.
- Prepare research publications and investment recommendations.
