About the role
This position is for experienced quantitative professionals who want to help improve AI systems. You will work with advanced models to assess AI-created quantitative analyses, tackle technical problems, and share feedback that influences how these systems handle data, modeling, and scientific reasoning. Backgrounds in areas such as data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, epidemiology, or other data-heavy disciplines are relevant if you are comfortable with rigorous analytical thinking.
Some people use this work to supplement a full-time job, while others take it on as their main professional focus.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will then be available through the platform.
Contract advantages
- You can select the projects you want and decide when to work on them.
- The work is done on your own computer, from wherever you are most comfortable.
- Hourly pay begins at USD 50 to USD 100+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus pay.
Key responsibilities
- Review AI-produced quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific interpretation, and data-based conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative exercises used to train and measure AI systems, covering areas such as forecasting, experiment analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Draft precise technical explanations and maintain clear, well-documented analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative role or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related field.
- Working coding experience and the ability to write and review analytical code end to end.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English communication skills at native or bilingual level, including solid writing ability.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is an advantage.
- Extra credentials such as a Kaggle ranking, AWS/GCP machine learning certifications, or similar evidence of expertise are beneficial.
Payment and other conditions
Payments are issued through PayPal, and no fees or money will ever be requested from applicants. Any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal.
Only candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand will be considered. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
