Job Overview
This is a remote contractor position for an English language specialist who can review AI-generated English responses and, when needed, create expert-level language content. The work centers on judging response quality, checking reasoning, spotting errors, and suggesting precise improvements so the final output is accurate, natural, and well explained.
As part of an AI data services organization, you will help improve the quality of outputs produced by leading AI companies and foundation model teams. Your language expertise will support the development of stronger, clearer, and more reliable AI systems.
This role does not have an active project attached right now. If you are a strong fit, you may be contacted first when relevant assignments become available, and you may also gain access to future opportunities through the expert network.
What You'll Do
You will review model-generated English answers, assess how well they address the prompt, and determine whether the logic, facts, and methodology are sound. You may also fact-check claims when required, produce better explanations or revised answers, and compare multiple AI outputs to decide which one is strongest on correctness and reasoning.
In addition, you may help create high-quality training prompts and model responses across different topics, supporting AI learning with clear examples of strong language use.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has advanced English language ability, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to explain corrections clearly and professionally. Experience with AI annotation, editorial quality assurance, localization QA, or copyediting is highly valued.
Additional Information
This is an hourly remote contractor role. The company expects reliable, independent work across time zones. Multilingual candidates with professional-level ability in at least one additional language are especially welcome.
Tools and Working Style
Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT, and similar platforms is strongly preferred. The role requires close attention to detail, consistency with style guidance, and the ability to spot subtle issues in meaning, tone, terminology, punctuation, and structure.
