Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site EHS Officer position in Bhopal. The selected professional will be responsible for designing, rolling out, and tracking Environment, Health, and Safety policies and procedures so that the facility remains compliant with applicable local and national rules. The role requires active oversight of safety across battery recycling and materials handling activities, with a strong focus on reducing risks, preventing incidents, and improving operational safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

The EHS Officer will carry out risk evaluations, safety walkthroughs, and hazard identification across plant operations. The role also includes planning and delivering safety awareness and EHS training for employees, strengthening day-to-day safety practices, and keeping detailed documentation of incidents, inspections, audits, and follow-up actions. Close coordination with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams will be essential to support continuous improvement in workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of EHS concepts, including health and safety management and workplace safety practices.
