The Merrion Hotel, a luxury five-star property in Dublin, is seeking a Drawings Room Host to join its guest service team. The hotel is centrally positioned and easy to reach by public transport, offering a supportive environment, high service standards, and thorough training from an experienced team.

Role Overview

This position is suited to a service-oriented person who wants to start or grow a career in a leading hospitality setting. You will help create memorable experiences for guests and colleagues while working with a professional and welcoming team.

Key Duties

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at the tables assigned to them.
• Manage the movement and flow of guests entering the Drawing Rooms.
• Guide guests to other departments when needed.
• Consistently deliver a polished, five-star welcome.
• Support the service team whenever assistance is required.

Candidate Profile

The hotel is looking for someone with a strong focus on guests, solid communication skills, very good spoken and written English, and the ability to handle several tasks at once. A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the hotel culture are important. The role requires adaptability, as priorities can change depending on guest and business needs.

Working Pattern

Shift-based working and flexibility are essential for this role.
