Job Summary
This remote contracting role is focused on supporting the training of advanced AI systems by reviewing documents and data with precision. The work contributes directly to improving how models learn, reason, and generate outputs using real-world information.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine both structured and unstructured records in high volume, checking for completeness and accuracy.
- Spot and report concerns tied to data quality, consistency, and any exposure risk involving personally identifiable information (PII).
- Label, organize, and when needed, remove sensitive details to support privacy and compliance requirements.
- Work within defined rules, taxonomies, and process flows to classify and validate information correctly.
- Carry out quality assurance checks to confirm data integrity and the accuracy of outputs.
- Keep thorough logs of reviewed files and actions taken so work remains traceable and accountable.
- Coordinate with the client team and communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates clearly in writing and verbally.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on background in reviewing documents, auditing records, annotating data, redacting sensitive content, or classifying information at scale.
- Strong focus and accuracy, especially when completing repetitive review tasks.
- Working knowledge of how to manage and safeguard personally identifiable information (PII).
- Clear written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to document observations and share them with teammates.
- Proven ability to work within detailed instructions and established classification frameworks.
- Experience with QA or validation work on large datasets.
- Capability to stay efficient without sacrificing precision while working remotely.
Preferred Background
- Experience or exposure in legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security work.
- Previous involvement in AI or machine learning data support projects.
- Comfort using collaboration software and digital workflow platforms.
