This is a senior leadership role focused on creating and expanding a strong Project Management Office that elevates customer implementation delivery and professional services execution. The position owns project governance, portfolio oversight, and operational delivery, with responsibility for ensuring work is completed on schedule, within scope, and with disciplined financial management. In this role, you will combine strategy with hands-on execution to improve delivery practices, strengthen implementation approaches, and raise the organization’s overall maturity. You will work closely with executive leaders as well as teams in product, engineering, sales, finance, and customer success to keep delivery aligned with business goals. The role also includes managing and coaching project managers while improving scale, efficiency, and profitability across the services organization in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

Key accountabilities

• Own the PMO function by setting governance models, delivery standards, methods, KPIs, tools, and reporting practices.
• Put repeatable delivery practices in place across customer implementations and internal initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including risks, interdependencies, staffing, and delivery results.
• Act as the main escalation contact for delivery challenges and help resolve issues across teams.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Project Managers while encouraging ownership, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
• Set clear performance goals and support career development, coaching, and skill-building across the team.
• Drive successful implementation delivery, covering scope, timelines, risks, stakeholders, and issues.
• Continuously refine delivery methods using lessons learned and operational insights.
• Oversee professional services operations, including forecasting, utilization, capacity planning, and margin performance.
• Create executive-level reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project and portfolio status.
• Work with senior stakeholders to align delivery priorities with business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Promote PMO tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in PMO, program management, or project delivery leadership roles.
• Background leading SaaS implementation teams and enterprise customer deployments.
• Strong experience with PMO governance, portfolio management, and delivery frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, capacity planning, utilization, and operational metrics.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing project management teams.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience working across product, engineering, sales, finance, and customer success functions.
• Ability to handle multiple complex customer implementations at the same time.
• Working knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery approaches in SaaS settings.
• Experience using PMO or delivery platforms such as Wrike, Jira, Salesforce, or comparable tools.
• PMP certification and experience in retail or supply chain environments are considered strong advantages.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
