About the role

IAG is the largest general insurance group across Australia and New Zealand, with a range of brands focused on helping people protect what matters and making insurance easier to access. This position is centered on creating strong digital content that improves the customer journey across websites and other online channels. You’ll work with product and marketing partners to turn business needs into clear, engaging digital experiences and help raise the overall quality of published content.

There are two openings for this role in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland): one permanent full-time position and one fixed-term contract position.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, publish, and maintain content across websites and digital channels while keeping it accurate, consistent, and customer-friendly.
  • Update web pages in content management systems and ensure publishing is efficient and aligned with brand and audience needs.
  • Oversee content review and approval steps so changes are compliant, properly checked, and delivered on schedule.
  • Review website data and performance signals to identify ways to strengthen content, user experience, and digital engagement.
  • Apply search optimisation practices to improve how easily content is found and how well it performs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to test ideas, learn from outcomes, and continuously improve digital journeys.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing digital content on websites, preferably in complex or regulated settings.
  • Strong capability with content management systems such as AEM, including publishing and ongoing content upkeep.
  • Good knowledge of SEO and how to shape content for visibility and performance.
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics to guide decisions and improve content results.
  • A highly disciplined approach with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • A collaborative working style and a genuine interest in improving customer experiences through quality content.
