Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site CT Radiographer position in Minto, New South Wales. The successful candidate will carry out accurate CT scans that support diagnosis and treatment planning, while also ensuring patients remain comfortable and safe throughout the process.
Key Duties
In this role, you will prepare patients for imaging, position them appropriately, and operate CT scanning equipment in line with clinical protocols. You will be responsible for producing high-quality images, following quality control standards, and keeping radiation exposure within safe limits. The position also involves maintaining precise records, working closely with radiologists, referring doctors, and other healthcare staff, and supporting equipment checks and continuous improvement efforts. A patient-focused and respectful approach to care is an important part of the job.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have proven capability in radiography and CT imaging, including confidence in operating CT systems and following imaging procedures correctly. A good understanding of radiology and medical imaging is needed to help achieve reliable diagnostic results and communicate effectively with clinical teams. Strong awareness of radiation safety and dose reduction is essential. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications in medical imaging or radiography and have current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the appropriate professional body. Previous experience in CT within a hospital or diagnostic imaging environment is preferred, and familiarity with PACS/RIS systems is an advantage.
