Role overview
This position is for a Core Banking Subject Matter Expert based in Singapore. The role focuses on implementing, improving, and supporting core banking platforms used for day-to-day banking operations.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the domain expert for core banking areas such as accounts, payments, and loans.
- Guide and support system upgrades, platform migrations, and integration efforts.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into clear system requirements.
- Maintain platform stability, performance, and compliance across banking processes.
- Investigate production incidents and carry out root cause analysis for recurring or critical issues.
Experience and skill requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in the core banking domain.
- Strong understanding of core banking systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Hands-on exposure to Temenos, Finacle, or comparable banking platforms.
- Good knowledge of data models and system integration concepts.
- Strong analytical ability and effective problem-solving skills.
