Role Overview
The Contract Recruiter will work closely with the internal team to run end-to-end hiring processes across a range of professional searches. This role suits someone who is proactive, resourceful, relationship-oriented, and committed to delivering strong experiences for both candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the internal team and candidates to build a search strategy that supports strong client service outcomes.
- Own recruiting activity while maintaining an active network and a healthy pipeline of engaged, qualified candidates.
- Source, approach, and build relationships with high-quality talent in Finance, Accounting, and Administrative areas.
- Carry out screening conversations and detailed interviews to assess background, fit, and career direction.
- Once a candidate has been sourced, screened, qualified, and presented, hand them off to the assigned sales representative for candidate prep, client introductions, and interview scheduling.
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to shape effective search plans.
- Keep candidate information current and compliant in the ATS.
- Draft strong job advertisements, outreach communication, and candidate presentations aligned with the company’s standards.
Candidate Profile
- Must be available during Pacific Time business hours and responsive to candidates and the team within that window.
- Should be able to commit at least 20 hours per week.
- Needs 3+ years of professional experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or a related client-facing professional services environment, ideally supporting finance and accounting roles.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Should have excellent business writing and communication abilities.
- Should be comfortable using boolean search and similar sourcing techniques.
- Preferred tools include LinkedIn Recruiter, LOXO, and Google Suite.
