Contract Clinical Research Associate

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a Clinical Research Associate to support a transplant-focused study across the United States, with primary coverage on the West Coast. The assignment is set for 1 year with the possibility of renewal, and the expected start is ASAP. The position is a full-time equivalent role at 1.0 FTE.

What you'll do

• Carry out site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out activities in line with the study schedule; visits are expected about every 6 weeks on average, though the cadence may differ by site.
• Verify that participating sites follow the protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Partner with site personnel to help drive enrollment, improve data quality, and strengthen overall site execution.
• Prepare and keep accurate study records, including documentation and monitoring reports, in a timely manner.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or a health-related area.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working as a CRA, ideally in transplant or nephrology research.
• Solid knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Readiness to travel to trial sites as needed, including Washington, California, Colorado, and other U.S. locations.

This role is intended for a transplant study and requires relevant background in transplant or nephrology trials. Travel across the United States will be part of the job, with a West Coast emphasis. Candidates should be prepared for an immediate start.
