The role is focused on building insurance business from the assigned bank relationship or channel partner within a specific area or zone. The objective is to influence the partner so they can in turn recommend Birla Sun Life Insurance products to their customers, while also delivering complete pre-sales and post-sales support to both the partner and the clients through the dedicated relationship team.   • Support branch profitability by selling ABSLI insurance products through different acquisition channels in the catchment area.
  • Meet the monthly sales goals assigned to the role.
  • Track and improve key performance outcomes such as NOP, FYP, persistency, and customer complaint handling.
  • Own customer complaint resolution within the defined turnaround time and ensure service quality remains strong.
  • Increase life insurance penetration among both existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop a smooth, professional working relationship with the Branch Manager and branch employees.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with banca partners in an open-architecture environment.
  • Handle customer needs at the bank with suitable products and responsive service.
  • Strengthen knowledge of insurance products as well as bank products.
  • Coordinate relationships across levels to deliver the desired business results.
  • Share product updates, process changes, and policy or regulatory changes, including internal and IRDA-related updates, through training modules for banca partners.
  • Support sales and service activities such as sales calls, policy issuance, and complaint handling.
