Clinical SAS Programmer with SDTM/ADaM

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Clinical SAS Programmer position with a focus on SDTM and ADaM. It is offered on a permanent basis for a global pharma and healthcare organization, with work arranged in a hybrid model and available in either Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Experience Profile

Candidates should have 6 to 10 years of experience in statistical programming using SAS, with mandatory hands-on work in ADaM and SDTM. For a senior-level role, the expectation rises to 7 to 15 years, along with people management experience, the ability to lead studies independently, own deliverables, maintain quality and validation standards, and mentor junior programmers.

Key Technical Expectations

The role calls for strong capability in SAS programming, clinical data standards, ADaM, SDTM, and TLFs, along with solid knowledge of clinical trial data. Applicants should also have good SQL fundamentals, familiarity with clinical trial and bioinformatics datasets, experience in data validation, TLF preparation, and database handling, plus strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Background

Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or clinical research environments is preferred. Exposure to R or Python will be considered an added advantage.

Profiles may be rejected if they do not demonstrate knowledge of clinical data standards such as SDTM and ADaM, if they have limited QC or validation experience, or if they are unable to independently handle study programming work end to end.
