Role Overview
NHC HomeCare & Hospice is hiring a seasoned Clinical Informatics Analyst to act as the bridge between clinical teams and technology. This is a fully remote role focused on improving clinical processes, supporting electronic health record tools, and helping drive workflow and process enhancements across home health and hospice services.
The right candidate should already be familiar with Homecare Homebase (HCHB), understand how home health and hospice operations work, and be comfortable partnering with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to expert for Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and related clinical software.
- Review current clinical processes and identify ways to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall user experience.
- Assist with system validation, upgrades, new implementations, and optimization projects.
- Help users by answering questions, resolving issues, and delivering training support.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs that guide clinical and operational decisions.
- Work with cross-functional partners to strengthen standardized workflows, maintain accurate data, and support ongoing improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Working knowledge of home health and hospice processes, workflows, and applicable regulations.
- Background supporting EHR platforms and other clinical applications.
- Strong ability to analyze problems, communicate clearly, solve issues, and train end users.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
