About the role
Serco is seeking dependable and motivated school cleaners to join its expanding facilities management team in the Hornsby area. This role offers the chance to contribute to safe, clean learning environments while being part of a workplace that values growth, support and wellbeing.

Shift pattern
- Morning shift: 5:00am to 9:00am
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 6:00pm or 3:00pm to 7:00pm
- Split shift: 5:00am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- Availability is required from Monday through Friday
Employment type
These positions are available as part-time permanent roles and full-time roles.
Location
Work will be based in the Hornsby region, including Hornsby, Waitara, Turramurra and nearby surrounding suburbs.
Key duties
- Clean classrooms, staff offices, toilets and common areas
- Remove waste, mop floors, vacuum carpets and wipe down surfaces
- Restock items such as paper towels, soap and other cleaning consumables
- Carry out work in line with cleaning procedures and safety requirements
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards
