Role summary

The organization is looking for a seasoned and performance-driven Chief Operating Officer to own operational execution, strengthen organizational performance, and help steer strategic priorities. This executive will be central to scaling business activities, improving internal workflows, and enabling collaboration across functions.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead daily operations across the business, shape and implement operating strategies, and establish enterprise-wide performance tracking through KPIs and related frameworks. You will also work to improve efficiency, promote continuous improvement, and partner closely with finance, risk, technology, product, and commercial teams.

Additional responsibilities include guiding business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation; designing organizational structures; planning senior leadership staffing; and developing leadership capability across the company. You will also contribute to governance and regulatory compliance, prepare operational updates and strategic recommendations for senior management and the board, identify expansion opportunities, and support partnerships and corporate development initiatives.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree, with an MBA preferred, and bring at least 10 years of leadership and operations management experience. Background in financial services, fintech, banking, payments, investment, or consulting is preferred, along with experience managing large teams and complex operating environments.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong delivery focus, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth setting.

Preferred qualifications

Priority will be given to candidates with senior leadership experience and a strong background in business operations management, strategic planning and execution, financial management and budget oversight, KPI and performance management, organizational development, risk and compliance awareness, digital transformation, and change management.

Compensation and benefits

The base annual salary ranges from $250,000 to $380,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional rewards may include an annual executive performance bonus, a long-term incentive plan, equity participation, and an executive retention bonus program.
