Role Overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Chief Operating Officer. The role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, shaping and executing business strategy, and keeping company activity aligned with its broader mission and goals. The position also involves budget oversight, workflow improvement, performance tracking, and collaboration across functions to support efficient and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct everyday business operations and maintain organizational efficiency.
• Create and roll out operating strategies that support company objectives.
• Work with executive leadership to strengthen growth and profitability.
• Track performance indicators, KPIs, and other operational measures.
• Guide cross-functional teams and keep departmental coordination running smoothly.
• Refine workflows, systems, and internal processes to improve productivity.
• Oversee budgets, resource use, and cost-control efforts.
• Spot operational risks and put mitigation plans in place.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry expectations.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred. Applicants should bring senior-level leadership experience, preferably in roles such as COO, Director of Operations, or Operations Executive. Strong knowledge of business operations, budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning is essential, along with proven people leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are also important, as is prior experience in process improvement and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The listed salary benchmark for the United States is USD 150,000 to 300,000+ per year. For remote or global companies, compensation depends on the region and the candidate’s expertise.
