Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Cashier position is based in Ras Al Khaimah. The role focuses on managing customer payments accurately, supporting visitors with questions, keeping the cash register balanced, and ensuring the checkout space remains neat and organized. The cashier will also help with product-related queries and contribute to a smooth customer experience in a busy marketplace.

Key Duties

• Process customer purchases quickly and accurately at the point of sale.
• Respond to customer questions and provide helpful support during checkout.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensure transaction records are correct.
• Match daily takings and complete sales reconciliation at the end of each day.
• Assist customers with basic product information when needed.
• Keep the checkout counter clean, orderly, and ready for use.
• Deliver courteous, professional service in a high-traffic environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience handling cash, using POS systems, and reconciling transactions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with basic arithmetic and careful attention to detail.
• Ability to stay efficient and professional in a fast-moving setting.
• Knowledge of additional languages beyond English is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and busy market hours.
• Retail or market experience is a plus.
