Overview
This full-time cashier position is based in Geraldton, Ontario, Canada and must be performed at the workplace. Remote work is not available.

Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
Candidates should have between 1 month and less than 7 months of related experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle transactions at the register and process payments by cash, cheque, and debit or credit card.
- Scan merchandise and total up the amount due for products or services.
- Accept customer payments and reconcile cash or shift totals against sales records.
- Restock shelves and keep the counter area tidy and clean.
- Welcome customers, deliver service support, and help with self-checkout when needed.
- Take reservations or take-out orders as required.
- Monitor entrances and exits, and request proof of purchase when appropriate.
- Check customer age when selling regulated products such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
