Role Summary

This full-time cashier role is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, within the commercial/retail team of a premium multi-designer apparel brand. The position is centered on accurate billing, smooth transaction handling, and delivering a polished checkout experience that matches the brand’s luxury image.

Billing and Cash Handling

  • Accurately process customer purchases through the POS system.
  • Accept and manage payments through cash, credit or debit cards, UPI, and other digital methods.
  • Generate correct bills and invoices for every transaction.
  • Balance the cash drawer and reconcile collections at the end of each shift.
  • Prepare daily reports covering sales and cash activity.

Customer Service

  • Provide courteous, high-quality service while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Respond to billing-related questions, payment issues, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensure the checkout process is efficient, smooth, and pleasant for shoppers.
  • Support customers with loyalty programs, offers, and promotional initiatives.

Store Operations Support

  • Work closely with the sales team so billing and inventory records stay aligned.
