An opportunity is open for an experienced Cargo Coordinator to join a team in Ajman, UAE. This position sits within the Sales department and is focused on coordinating cargo movement, supporting business growth, and ensuring smooth shipment handling across multiple transport modes.

Responsibilities

Find and approach prospective clients to support business development efforts.
Manage cargo movement across air, sea, and land transport networks.
Make sure shipments are processed and delivered within the expected timelines.
Prepare shipping documentation and confirm customs-related paperwork is accurate.
Monitor shipment status and keep customers informed with regular updates.
Coordinate closely with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and clients.
Maintain adherence to cargo regulations and internal operational standards.
Resolve operational challenges and address any shipment discrepancies.

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Good interpersonal and client-handling skills.
Competence with MS Office, logistics software, or ERP platforms.
Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
Working knowledge of cargo documentation and logistics processes.
Self-driven, proactive, and focused on results.

Language Requirements

English is mandatory. Tamil or Tagalog, along with other additional languages, is preferred.
