A full clean Irish manual or automatic driving licence is required, along with strong English-language proficiency. Candidates should also have experience working in intellectual disability services and with people who have autism and behaviours of concern.

Preference will be given to candidates who are motivated to help people live fulfilling lives and who are committed to encouraging active participation in their local communities. It is also desirable that applicants are willing to help service users build skills and competencies in areas they are interested in learning.

Additional Requirements

Applicants are expected to demonstrate Level 1 behavioural competencies from Avista’s competency framework.
