Car Detailer

Role overview

The rental fleet team in downtown Salt Lake City is looking for a dependable, hands-on car detailer. In this role, you will help keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready for the next renter by handling detailing, inspections, and basic lot support. Your work directly affects the quality and presentation of every car delivered to customers.

Core duties

• Wash, vacuum, sanitize, and thoroughly clean rental vehicles both inside and outside.
• Check vehicles for visible damage, fluid levels, and general mechanical condition.
• Top up fuel when required and make sure each vehicle is prepared for the next booking.
• Safely move and park cars within the lot or transfer them between rental sites.
• Flag any service, repair, or maintenance issues to the management team.
• Support lot organization and assist with tracking the vehicle inventory.

Work environment

This position is based in Salt Lake City, a busy and growing hub for travelers and business activity. The role offers a varied day-to-day routine in a fast-moving rental car setting, with opportunities to build experience in fleet operations, customer service, and management paths over time.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Comfortable operating different vehicle types, such as sedans, SUVs, and vans.
• Need to be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work without close supervision.
• Should be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
