Role overview
The Cafe Associate supports the prepared food area by keeping product knowledge current, delivering helpful member service, and working closely with teammates across shifts and departments. This role requires flexibility, strong attention to food quality, and a commitment to safe, efficient daily operations.
Core duties
- Stay current on prepared food product details and work with cross-functional teams to support smooth operations, while helping train and guide other associates on tools, tasks, and available resources.
- Prepare food to product specifications, plan for upcoming production needs and seasonal demand, and follow food safety, sanitation, cold-chain, and inventory-control standards.
- Use handheld and digital tools to support production decisions, ordering, club pickup receiving, training, and product quality improvements with the member’s experience in mind.
- Maintain area performance by stocking and rotating items, checking dates and quality, minimizing waste, and assisting members with purchases, payment options, product location, and issue resolution.
- Act as a positive representative of the brand by working in a respectful, supportive, and team-focused way, while helping remove roadblocks and contributing to training efforts.
- Follow company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity expectations, including the Open Door Policy and related business practices.
- Complete assigned work by using policies, data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; manage priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; and adapt to feedback and change.
Food service standards
- Operate, clean, maintain, and sanitize food-service equipment appropriately.
- Follow layout and execution standards for merchandise and product presentation.
- Support mass production and future production planning as business needs require.
Benefits and compensation
This role offers competitive hourly pay and may include performance-based bonus awards. The stated hourly wage range is $18.00 to $26.00. Additional premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed, and more than one premium may apply when eligible.

Minimum qualifications
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must complete all required training and assessments within the required timeframe after hire.
