Job Purpose

This role is focused on keeping facilities management procurement smooth, timely, and economical. The Buyer will secure the goods and services needed for operations, follow company rules, and help ensure suppliers perform well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete procurement cycle for FM materials, consumables, and service agreements, making sure company processes are followed.
  • Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms while protecting quality and delivery commitments.
  • Draft and process purchase requisitions and local purchase orders once the required approvals are in place.
  • Keep procurement documentation accurate and update records in the ERP platform, preferably Oracle, to maintain clarity and traceability.
  • Build and sustain productive vendor relationships, and carry out periodic assessments of supplier performance.
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, and finance teams so purchasing activity matches business requirements.
  • Contribute to savings initiatives and help improve procurement efficiency over time.
  • Respond quickly to urgent or emergency purchasing needs to support uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience in Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a comparable service-sector environment in the UAE.
  • Good knowledge of UAE supplier markets and FM-related goods and services.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems.
