About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that brings top-tier creative and technical professionals together with leading AI research organizations. The business is based in San Francisco and counts Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey among its investors.
You will work as a Business & Professional Services Expert in a remote contract role focused on helping evaluate and improve AI systems through high-quality professional and business-oriented tasks.
Role Responsibilities
- Design tasks that demand careful business analysis and accurate adherence to instructions.
- Build detailed, multi-step prompts using realistic workplace materials such as business plans, reports, and presentation decks.
- Assess how well AI models interpret professional documents and follow instructions.
- Develop clear, objective scoring rubrics for model evaluation.
- Partner with AI research teams to support the creation of well-structured professional outputs.
- Work autonomously and on an asynchronous schedule while meeting deadlines and contributing to model improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, marketing, sales, human resources, organizational development, business operations, or general management is required.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
This is a contract position with pay of $60 to $80 per hour. The expected commitment is 15 to 20 hours per week, and the role is fully remote.
