About the Role

The analyst will join a reporting team that concentrates on sales performance insights. Core work includes building business intelligence initiatives, supporting data collection, transformation, and visualization, and contributing to projects tied to wider strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales channels as a dependable data partner and subject matter resource.
  • Review large datasets to identify patterns, surface insights, and highlight performance improvement opportunities.
  • Convert business questions into data-led solutions and practical recommendations.
  • Develop clear, user-friendly dashboards to monitor business performance.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for campaign monitoring and business tracking.
  • Support reporting, sales data visualization, strategic planning, performance analysis, and measurement of quantitative metrics for the Associate Director and Channel Heads.
  • Operate within delegated authority limits as assigned by the department from time to time.
  • Contribute insights that strengthen strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Help improve data management, automation, and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver complete end-to-end solutions.
  • Support audit and governance activities across the division, including routine and ad-hoc reviews when needed.
  • Improve reporting workflows through automation and productivity enhancements.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Actuarial, Audit, Product, Finance, Technology, and Tied Distribution to better support distribution channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics.
  • Strong initiative, analytical curiosity, and business understanding to resolve data and business issues.
  • Good interpersonal ability and stakeholder management skills, with experience building relationships across teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and confident in problem-solving and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Comfortable working with data at scale, including reading, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Working knowledge of Excel VBA, SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience creating dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or comparable platforms.
  • Background in insurance or financial services will be beneficial.
