About the role
This position sits within a fast-scaling technology company working in AI, cloud, and critical national infrastructure. The business is moving quickly, with a high level of ambition and intensity, so it will suit someone who thrives in a demanding environment.
What you will do
You will create new business opportunities by understanding what organisations are trying to achieve and matching those goals to the company’s capabilities. A conversation may begin with something like a cloud migration, but client relationships often expand into multiple service areas because their needs are broader than a single product.
You will manage the complete sales process, from the first discussion through to contract signature, while partnering with pre-sales and technical specialists to shape solutions that align closely with customer requirements.
The deals are typically high-value, with lengthy and complex sales cycles. This is not an inbound-led role, and you should not expect a steady flow of warm leads or a pre-built pipeline.
The company uses a different market approach from traditional MSPs and hyperscalers, so candidates who rely on a fixed catalogue and a standard pricing structure before speaking with a customer are unlikely to succeed.

Requirements
- A proven record of B2B selling within managed cloud, IT infrastructure, hosting, or MSP environments.
- Experience working through long, complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders involved.
- Confidence when dealing with senior buyers such as IT Directors, CIOs, Heads of Infrastructure, and Procurement leaders.
- Strong commercial judgement and a solid instinct for negotiation.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools.
- Exposure to public sector frameworks and regulated industries.
