Role Overview
The Business Analysis Manager will oversee the business analytics function across warehousing, logistics, procurement, and supply chain operations. This position partners closely with operations and leadership to deliver data-backed insights, financial analysis, project support, and decision-making recommendations that improve service quality, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance.
The selected candidate will manage a team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts, create strong analysis frameworks, coordinate multiple strategic programs, and make sure insights are turned into practical business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities for the business.
- Create financial planning models to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Track actual results against budget and forecast, investigate gaps, and suggest corrective measures.
- Work with Finance and Operations teams to improve forecasting accuracy and control costs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity through analysis.
- Perform root-cause reviews of operational cost and performance drivers.
- Build business cases and recommendations aimed at improving efficiency, resource use, and profitability.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and monitor savings delivered against targets.
- Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including warehousing, transport, procurement, inventory, and cross-border e-commerce fulfillment.
- Provide analytical support and strategic recommendations to enhance customer experience, operational results, and financial performance.
- Convert complex data into clear insights that support decisions at different levels of the organization.
- Set up and maintain KPI structures, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting systems.
- Standardize key metrics, reporting definitions, and analytical methods across teams.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and alignment between operational and financial reporting.
- Lead and prioritize analytics requests across Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and other functions.
- Put in place governance processes to intake, assess, rank, and deliver analytical work.
- Allocate team capacity to the most valuable business priorities.
- Own end-to-end project management, including ROI analysis, business cases, budget planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder updates, and benefits tracking.
- Ensure initiatives achieve the expected operational, financial, and customer outcomes.
- Review analytical methods, assumptions, findings, and recommendations for quality and accuracy.
- Validate project results and measure realized business value against planned goals.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that are concise, executive-ready, and action-oriented.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts.
- Define analytical best practices, knowledge-sharing habits, and operating standards for the team.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, HR, Product, and Technology teams.
- Coordinate data collection, business requirements, and analytical work across multiple stakeholders.
- Align business and financial viewpoints to support consistent planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Support senior leaders with strategic planning, scenario modeling, capacity planning, and long-term forecasting.
- Prepare executive-level analysis and presentations for major business decisions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- An MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, financial analysis, supply chain analytics, or a related area.
- At least 2 years of people management experience leading analytical teams.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and cross-border e-commerce operations.
- Advanced capability in analytical thinking, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to handle several projects at once and deliver under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools, and data visualization platforms.
