Main duties
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Work to the direction of department managers and help monitor food quality and hygiene compliance.
- Maintain the same standards of excellence and efficiency set by the senior kitchen team.
- Follow HACCP rules and procedures consistently.
- Help ensure hygiene systems are followed during food preparation and storage.
Candidate profile
- Prior experience in hotels or a comparable kitchen role.
- Strong interest in food and a genuine enthusiasm for cooking.
- A professional, friendly manner when dealing with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Good working knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety standards.
