Role overview
This role is based at Vizag - Akkayyapalem in Visakhapatnam Rural mandal, India. It is a full-time, on-site position with Bajaj Finance Ltd., focused on improving employee productivity through the company’s internal productivity app for sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Use the organization’s productivity application to boost sales-team efficiency by shaping new features for BFL teams.
- Act as the product owner and coordinate with the IT function to deliver a high-quality solution aligned with business needs.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and evaluate technical factors.
- Convert product direction into detailed requirements and prepare/review user stories.
- Collaborate with the IT team to make sure app features are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across BFL verticals to encourage adoption and regular use of the Salesone app.
- Support and guide team members to ensure strong output quality.
Experience and qualifications
The company is looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical-role experience. An MBA is preferred. The role calls for 6 to 8 years of relevant product management experience, ideally in a technology company or financial services organization.
Experience in finance/fintech, NBFC or lending, and B2C platforms will be considered an advantage. Strong presentation ability, confidence with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with data to generate insights are all important. Candidates should also be highly motivated and self-driven.
Desired capabilities
A basic understanding of UX design is preferred, along with experience creating functional requirement documentation that can be handed off to IT for development.
