Overview
This is a short-term remote contract for a Biology specialist who can create, solve, and explain advanced biology problems to support evaluation work for large language models. The work is estimated at 8 hours per day, with 4 hours of overlap required with PST. The assignment runs for 11 weeks and is expected to begin immediately or very soon.
What you will do
- Build difficult Biology questions and solve them to assess large language models.
- Prepare accurate, easy-to-follow solutions with detailed reasoning.
- Work with LLM researchers on benchmark design and reasoning-oriented evaluation tasks.
- Contribute to the creation of new assessment benchmarks covering topics from undergraduate to PhD-level Biology.
- Tackle complex biological problems using a logical and well-organized approach.
- Present Biology ideas in a simple way, using visuals or simulations when helpful.

Compensation and timing
The role pays $450 per task, subject to approval. It is a remote contract assignment with an immediate tentative start date and an 11-week duration. The expected commitment is 8 hours per day, including 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
