Role overview

This remote contract opportunity is for a Biology Expert who will contribute subject-matter knowledge to the development of next-generation AI systems. The assignment is centered on producing high-quality, real-world input that helps models learn, reason, and respond more effectively. Prior AI experience is not required; strong domain expertise is the key requirement.

What you will do

• Examine biological and technical material, then pull out the most relevant information for the subject area.
• Create, assess, and improve biology-focused questions and answers built around data retrieval, calculations, and critical thinking.
• Review complex research papers, documents, and datasets to develop accurate assessment content.
• Explain findings clearly and provide detailed feedback that strengthens model understanding.
• Work with remote, cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy, depth, and consistency in the work.
• Use your subject knowledge to support model improvement and contribute to ongoing project quality.
• Handle tasks independently, manage time well, and deliver reliable outputs with minimal oversight.
• Maintain strong standards for written and verbal communication in English.

What is expected

• At least 2 years of professional experience in biology, gained through academia, laboratory work, or industry.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and synthesize complex biological information from varied sources.
• Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
• Experience producing or reviewing assessments, problem sets, reports, studies, or other scientific content.
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote setting while meeting deadlines efficiently.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Experience handling technical documentation and analytical work.

Preferred background

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a closely related discipline.
• Background in interdisciplinary or research-oriented projects.
• Familiarity with computational biology or data analysis tools.
