Bellstand Attendant

Role Overview

This position supports guest arrival and departure experiences at a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on welcoming guests, helping with luggage and transportation, sharing property information, and providing attentive service that reflects a high standard of hospitality.

Guest Service Duties

• Greet guests and escort them to their rooms.
• Open doors and assist arriving and departing guests and visitors.
• Explain hotel facilities, services, operating hours, local attractions, and nearby activities.
• Show guests how to use room features such as the key, minibar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, and tailored laundry services.
• Carry luggage to and from guest rooms or the designated bell desk area.
• Store and retrieve luggage when needed.
• Assist guests and visitors entering or exiting vehicles, including loading and unloading bags.
• Provide directions to destinations and arrange transport such as taxis or minibuses.
• Record advance transportation requests when required.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors.

• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries promptly.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Keep uniform and personal appearance neat and professional.
• Protect confidential company information and safeguard company assets.
• Support coworkers with respect and dignity.
• Work with the team toward shared goals and quality standards.
• Remain alert to potentially suspicious individuals on the property.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position items under 50 lbs (22.50 kg) without assistance.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and positioning items over 75 lbs (33.75 kg).
• Stand, sit, or walk for long periods or throughout the full shift.
• Respond quickly to work situations, including running or jogging when needed.
• Read and verify information in multiple formats, including small print.
• Reach above the head and below the knees, bend, twist, crouch, and lean.
• Move across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
• Climb and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
• Speak clearly and professionally, and answer telephone calls using proper etiquette.

Desired Qualifications

A secondary school diploma or a GED-equivalent qualification is preferred. No prior related work experience is required, and no supervisory experience is needed. No license or certification is required.
