This position is for a Bellman at The Luxury Collection in Singapore. The role sits within Rooms & Guest Services Operations and is a full-time, non-management hotel front-of-house position. It is an on-site role at 80 Middle Road, Singapore 188966.

What you will do

The Bellman is responsible for creating a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience for guests. The job involves assisting guests with luggage, escorting them to rooms, supporting transport arrangements, and sharing useful information about the property and nearby attractions.

• Greet arriving and departing guests, open doors, and provide courteous assistance at the entrance.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain key room features and amenities.
• Handle guest luggage, including transport to and from rooms or the bell desk area.
• Help guests enter and exit vehicles, and support loading and unloading of luggage.
• Provide directions and guidance about the hotel, local area, and points of interest.
• Arrange transportation such as taxis, shuttles, or limousine/sedan services, and keep records of advance requests when needed.
• Communicate parking procedures clearly to guests and visitors.

Work standards and physical requirements

The role requires consistent professionalism, attentiveness, and adherence to hotel standards. The associate must follow company procedures, protect confidential information, and maintain a polished appearance at all times.

• Follow company policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Stay alert to the presence of suspicious or undesirable persons on the premises.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal presentation.
• Welcome every guest respectfully, respond to service needs quickly, and support guests with disabilities.
• Use clear, professional communication and proper telephone etiquette.
• Build positive working relationships and meet quality assurance standards.
• Read information accurately in different formats and maintain attention to detail.
• Be prepared to run, walk, jog, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during a shift.
• Safely move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place items up to 50 pounds alone and over 75 pounds with assistance.
• Move across uneven, sloping, slippery, or stair-based surfaces and bend, twist, reach, stoop, and pull as needed.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
