About the Role

This position is for a Barista in Alkira’s Dubai office, where you will create a polished and welcoming coffee experience for clients and visitors. The role is full time and requires working on site. You will prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other drinks while maintaining high standards of consistency, presentation, and hygiene. You will also keep the beverage and lounge areas tidy and well stocked, greet guests, take their orders, recommend beverages, and provide courteous service that reflects the company’s luxury image.

In addition, you will work closely with the front office and client experience teams to help support meetings, events, and client visits, contributing to a comfortable and professional workplace atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Practical experience making espresso drinks, using different coffee brewing techniques, and creating simple latte art.
• Strong hospitality instincts, excellent client-facing manners, and the ability to engage with people in a warm and professional way.
• Working knowledge of food safety practices, cleanliness standards, and everyday café tasks such as stocking supplies and caring for equipment.
• Clear English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is considered helpful in an international environment.
• Comfort with a full-time, on-site schedule in Dubai, along with good time management and the ability to stay organized during rush periods.
• Background in a barista, café, or hospitality role, preferably in a premium or luxury setting.
• Dependability, punctual attendance, and a team-oriented mindset focused on supporting coworkers and improving the guest experience.

The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is expected to be performed fully onsite.
