Role Overview

The Banquet Captain supports food and beverage service during events at the conference centre in Doha. This role focuses on coordinating banquet operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and keeping service standards high throughout functions.

Key Duties

  • Relay service requirements to chefs and stewards during events so food and beverage operations run smoothly.
  • Calculate charges for group functions and prepare guest checks for payment collection.
  • Make sure banquet spaces, restaurants, and coffee break setups are fully prepared before service begins.
  • Arrange appropriate centerpieces on every table in line with event standards.
