Role Overview

The General Manager will lead the Orlando, FL dealership and be accountable for meeting used-car sales targets as well as gross profit goals on a daily, monthly, and annual basis. Success in this role comes from organizing, planning, coordinating, and tracking the work of the sales team. The position also carries responsibility for the overall facility, making sure operations, reconditioning/service, and sales are aligned and functioning well within a collaborative team culture built around the company’s core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience for every guest who visits the dealership.
  • Track guest movement and make sure transactions progress efficiently from one step to the next.
  • Actively support showroom sales activity and help maximize closing opportunities.
  • Coach, develop, and build a workplace culture centered on accountability.
  • Set monthly and yearly sales budgets and performance targets.
  • Work with each salesperson each month to define goals for close rates, time use, prospecting, unit volume, and income projections.
  • Meet with sales team members as early as possible each day to review prior results and the plan for the day ahead.
  • Lead and facilitate sales meetings.
  • Provide hands-on training for sales staff.
