About the Role
A leading international consultancy firm is looking for a skilled Automation Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial for a significant building construction and infrastructure project, specifically focusing on Land and Water Transport Infrastructure in East Africa, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and managing automation systems for these vital projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the integration of HMI, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Ensure seamless automation for water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of automation strategies for infrastructure projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in HMI, PLC, and SCADA integration.
- Proven expertise in automation for water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication.
Additional Information
This is an onsite position based in Rwanda, East Africa, contributing to a major infrastructure development.
