Role Overview
This position is part of the Marketing function for the Endo Surgery portfolio. The role is centered on supporting market development, driving marketing execution, and contributing to business growth across domestic and international territories. It involves close coordination with sales teams, surgeons, hospitals, distributors, and other stakeholders to strengthen product positioning, improve market reach, and deepen customer engagement.
The role demands a combination of product expertise, field marketing capability, clinical understanding, stakeholder coordination, and structured execution to help meet portfolio and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement marketing approaches that support business objectives and fit regional market needs.
- Organize and run campaigns, workshops, CMEs, KOL interactions, training sessions, and academic programs.
- Work with sales teams, distributors, regional managers, and medical professionals to drive growth and market penetration.
- Support launches, portfolio positioning, pricing plans, and promotional initiatives.
- Conduct regular product and clinical training for sales personnel, distributors, surgeons, and paramedical teams.
- Study market movements, competitor actions, customer responses, and business potential to guide strategy.
- Create marketing materials, digital content, presentations, and clinical support assets.
- Represent the portfolio at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and promotional events.
- Coordinate with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, and R&D teams to ensure smooth execution and effective product lifecycle management.
- Assist in post-launch adoption efforts and customer engagement activities.
- Collect on-ground insights and customer feedback to support product improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of surgical stapling devices and strong product understanding.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing for stapling devices.
- Total professional experience of 3 to 5 years in the medical devices sector.
- Practical exposure to field marketing, surgeon engagement, and clinical selling.
- Strong ability in communication, presentations, analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience training healthcare professionals, distributors, and sales teams.
- Capability to collaborate across functions and manage several stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience with international markets such as APAC, LATAM, Africa, CIS, or Europe is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within India and internationally as needed.
- MBA or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Marketing or Healthcare Management is preferred.
