Role overview
This position is for a highly structured, execution-focused leader who will help coordinate governance, tracking, and delivery across the Digital Office. Working directly with the Chief Digital Officer, the role is intended to strengthen alignment, visibility, and follow-through on major digital, technology, and business transformation programs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, juggling several priorities at once, and creating order, discipline, and accountability across complex cross-functional work.
The role is effectively single-threaded to the Chief Digital Officer and is designed to amplify the CDO’s impact across the digital and technology agenda.
Strategic thought partnership
- Pull together insights from the five Digital & Technology functions — Product, TechOps, Data & Analytics, Shared Services, and Information Security — and highlight overlaps, dependencies, and decisions that need the CDO’s attention.
- Help define the most important questions before presentations and reviews are prepared, with focus on weekly and quarterly priorities.
- Convert function-level updates into one clear picture of the CDO Office’s progress, blockers, and pressure points.
Transformation governance and program management
- Own governance and execution tracking for enterprise-wide digital, technology, and transformation efforts.
- Set up and run program review cadences, steering committees, and leadership governance meetings.
- Track milestones, interdependencies, risks, and mitigation actions across several workstreams.
- Make sure action items from audits are followed up on and closed within timelines.
- Keep leadership informed on key deliverables, timelines, and business results.
Executive office and leadership support
- Assist the CDO in advancing strategic priorities and organizational initiatives.
- Draft leadership decks, review packs, board-ready updates, and executive communications.
- Bring together updates from multiple teams and present a concise view of progress, risks, and decisions needed.
- Coordinate leadership reviews and help maintain alignment among stakeholders.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of important organizational priorities.
Cross-functional coordination
- Work with business, technology, product, operations, and external partners to move key initiatives forward.
- Connect teams, resolve dependencies, and remove obstacles that slow execution.
- Maintain consistent communication and alignment across programs and stakeholders.
- Support decision-making with structured analysis and data-based insights.
- Build trusted working relationships across functions to deliver outcomes.
Organizational health and people pulse
- Track the overall health of the Digital & Technology organization, including employee sentiment, attrition indicators, and the quality of collaboration across functions.
- Monitor how internal stakeholders perceive the CDO Office and raise friction points early.
- Help the CDO interpret people-related signals and plan suitable interventions when required.
- Serve as a cultural temperature check for the Digital & Technology organization.
Balance scorecard tracking and reporting
- Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting structures for programs and initiatives.
- Spot execution risks and escalate them appropriately.
- Strengthen accountability through regular reviews of progress and performance.
- Provide leadership with accurate and timely reporting.
