ASIC Project Manager

Overview

An established semiconductor business in the UK is looking for a seasoned ASIC Project Manager to help steer the delivery of advanced ASIC development programmes. The position is centered on keeping multiple engineering workstreams, customers, and stakeholders aligned so that both technical targets and commercial commitments are met throughout the ASIC product lifecycle.

The role suits someone who can operate confidently in a demanding semiconductor setting, where planning discipline, execution focus, and strong coordination are essential to keeping projects on track.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee ASIC development initiatives from early planning through to completion across the full product lifecycle.
• Bring together engineering specialists from different disciplines, along with outside partners, to support programme delivery.
• Create, update, and monitor schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for active projects.
• Identify and manage project risks, open issues, and technical interdependencies before they impact delivery.
• Keep customers and internal teams informed with concise, timely progress updates.
• Assist with planning exercises, effort estimates, and regular project reporting.
• Maintain momentum toward critical engineering milestones and delivery targets.
