Toloka brings together curious, capable people from many countries to complete freelance online tasks that help train and improve artificial intelligence systems.
The platform connects contributors with generative AI initiatives from major technology innovators, with the goal of involving real people in building better AI.
Role summary
As an annotator, you may be asked to join online projects when they become available. Typical work can include assessing AI-generated text, checking whether information is accurate, or comparing different responses.
Responsibilities
- Review supplied content carefully, including text, images, and videos.
- Apply labels or categories according to the instructions for each project.
- Spot and report content that is incorrect, sensitive, unsuitable, or difficult to understand.
Work model and availability
This is project-based freelance work, so tasks are offered only while active projects are open. Depending on your profile and the current workload, you may be invited to participate in one or several projects.
Compensation varies by project based on complexity and the expertise required. For this role, the stated earning potential is up to $22 per hour equivalent.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any field.
