About the Role

Simular is creating autonomous agents that can use computers the way people do, by clicking, typing, and moving through different applications and workflows. The research team is focused on the intelligence behind the system, while this role is responsible for deciding what the agent should do first and how the product should evolve. As the AI Product Manager, you will shape the roadmap from end to end, determine the highest-priority workflows, design the user experience, and help the engineering team deliver quickly in a startup environment. This is a high-impact 0-to-1 position where your choices will directly influence what users experience at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the roadmap for Simular’s agent platform and rank workflows based on user value, technical practicality, and business impact.
  • Prepare precise, actionable product specifications that engineering teams can implement with minimal follow-up or clarification.
  • Lead sprint execution for the product engineering team, including backlog organization, removing blockers, and helping ensure work is delivered on schedule.
  • Test with users, review product usage insights, and continuously refine the agent’s interaction design and overall experience.
  • Set measurable goals for reliability, speed, and user satisfaction, then drive the team toward achieving them consistently.
  • Maintain strong alignment between research and engineering on priorities, schedules, and trade-offs across different time zones.
  • Represent the user’s perspective internally and turn real customer pain points into clear product direction.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience delivering complex software products, with enough technical depth to understand API documentation, latency considerations, and engineering discussions.
  • Comfort operating in uncertain, fast-moving environments, with the ability to help define the process rather than wait for one to exist.
